If you're comparing builders, you'll run into three labels that sound like versions of the same thing: licensed building practitioner, master builder, and certified builder. They're not versions of the same thing. One is a government licence required by law. The other two are private associations a business can choose to join. Once you know which is which, you'll read every builder's website differently. Including ours.
Most people never think to ask this before signing with a building company: is the person running it a builder?
