Agreement to these terms
toppshelfbuilding.nz is operated by Topp Shelf Building ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, the site is not for you to use — though the phone still works either way.
Use of the website
The site exists so you can see how we build, decide whether we are the right fit, and get in touch. Use it lawfully and fairly. In particular, do not:
- Attempt to breach, probe or test the site's security, or interfere with its operation.
- Use the forms or booking flow to send spam, unlawful material, or content that belongs to someone who has not agreed.
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the site's content or imagery.
- Misrepresent who you are when contacting or booking with us.
Intellectual property
The text, photography, mark and design of this site belong to Topp Shelf Building or to the people who licensed them to us. Project photography is shown with the property owners' permission — their homes, their say.
You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use — deciding on a builder counts. Any other reproduction, republication or commercial use needs our written consent first.
What you send us
Information you submit through the site must be accurate, and files you upload must be yours to share — your plans, your photographs, or material you are authorised to pass on.
By sending material you give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it: responding to you, preparing for your call, and scoping or delivering your project. Words offered on the experience page are published only with the permission you set there — how we handle all of it is in the Privacy Policy.
Project information & pricing
Everything on this site is general information, not an offer, a quote or professional advice. Projects shown are real but specific to their site, brief and budget — yours will be its own. The terms of any actual engagement are agreed in writing, job by job, before work starts.
Service availability
We may change, suspend or retire any part of the site at any time without notice. We work to keep it fast and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free — it is a website, not a load-bearing wall.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent New Zealand law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. The site and its content are provided as general information, as-is.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights the law does not allow to be excluded — including, where it applies, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Those rights stand.
External links & embedded services
The site links to and embeds a small number of third-party services — the booking calendar among them. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or conduct. The full list of providers is in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes appear on this page with a new date at the top, and your continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New Zealand, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts of New Zealand.
